Q: Reiki Level I, student from Brisbane Australia: I have a Reiki question that I thought you might be able to help me with...My brother Sam was in a car accident two days ago. He had a bad concussion, some temporary memory loss and pain in his head, neck and back. This evening I did some Reiki on my brother’s head. I sat behind his head and he lay on his back, I put my hands over his temples. After only about minute he jolted and jumped into the air and said he had seen a vivid image of a triangle of white light and a gold form (he said it looked like a Buddha) with 6 or more arms in a cross legged position. He said that he felt a bolt of energy go from his head to his feet and also felt like his head was much bigger. He is not at all religious and has not seen the image before. He began to sweat a lot suddenly and was very hot. I think it may have given him a fright. I told him that I was sure it was nothing negative. Do you know what any of this means?

A: Reiki Grand Master, Barin Mehta: YOU SIMPLY NOTE THAT NOTHING IS NEGATIVE IN THIS OCCURRENCE!   There may be interpretation/s regarding what has happened but first of all, it was a HEALING PROCESS with subtle presence! I found that what ever happened with his head and memory were healed by Reiki or say that the healing energy Reiki has given indications that the healing is really possible if treated with Reiki / healing energy.

White light and golden lights always helps and heals and the Buddha figure clearly shows the subtle presence!. Triangle indicates the presence of Shakti (energy/power) element to help in the healing process as well as provides protection!. Your brother's sudden behavior (some can say that reaction too!) indicates  that the process of absorbing and grasping of such energy was really a new experience for him as well as looking at the head injury one can see this as a behavioral aspect also! Nothing wrong in that but his utterance might have created two things at a time: One would be the root cause removing process and second would be the criteria of energy absorbance process!

The crossed leg position was some how indicating obstacle against the healing energy but it was dealt properly by Reiki … this is my grasping! Same I can say about sweating and hot feeling! It was natural that the energy bolt was felt from head to feet, because your hands were on the head! This kind of things some time happen when certain things are related with head, memory, brain and sensitive parts of the body are healed first time! So don’t worry about that too!  I have one suggestion for you: Now when you heal the head put your hands on back third eye chakra, both the ears and then temples!  I hope that you will be satisfied with the reply and invite that if you need more clarifications then please do write to me any time!
